MoonShadows is a strong boned, well proportioned female with cookies and cream appaloosa markings. Her fleece is nicely dense and very soft. This half Peruvian female has tons of true black and silver in her dam’s background and of course Puffles added his topknot and great Peruvian attributes. Her fleece took 1st place at EPWM in 2007 and 2009 and 2nd in 2008. She is scheduled for a fall breeding to our magnificent new herd sire Kokopelli’s Song Mohave. $15,000

Easy births, protective, nurturing and lot’s of milk for her crias, Luna is truly one of those alpaca dams the books write about. Her histogram at two years of age was 22.4 microns with a standard deviation of 4.5 microns – Excellent for a true black animal! Luna will be bred this spring to Kokopelli’s Song Apache – a stunning dark silver gray male. Her entire color background consists of Medium Rose Gray and True Black – and her first cria was a beautiful dark fawn female when bred to light brown. Her second cria was a dark rose gray male whose sire was dark silver gray and her newest cria born this fall is a beautiful golden fawn.
